“Until I’m Married” – Chicago Sky Star Forward Angel Reese Opens Up About Her Love Life, Sparking Mixed Reactions From Fans

After having one of the best careers in college basketball in NCAA history, former LSU star Angel Reese had an amazing rookie season in the WNBA. But being in the spotlight comes with its fair share of attention, even off the court. And this is where Reese is learning to set boundaries, especially for her personal life.

In a world where everything can be shared with just a click, Reese has recently reminded her fans—and perhaps herself—that some things are meant to be kept private. However, her post sparked mixed reactions!

Angel Reese wants to keep her love life private.

Recently, the Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese took to her X account, formerly known as Twitter, where she opened up about keeping her love life private. She wrote:

Now i see why people hide relationships & keep everything private 😭 like i don’t think i’ll ever openly share that part of my life with yall again until im married cause yall do THE MOST!

But her post received mixed reactions from fans. One fan supported her decision and advised her to keep her relationships private even when she was married. The fan wrote, “Keep it private when you’re married, too. Nobody needs to be in your business like that.”

On the other hand, a fan said, “Yo we don’t care.” Whereas, another fan said, “Glad you’re learning this quickly sis.”

Meanwhile, one fan wrote, “Basketball is the only reason we care about you. Nothing else.” And, one said, “You don’t need to be telling your business anyway.”

Angel Reese’s tweet resonated differently with her followers, highlighting the challenges public figures face when it comes to sharing personal details. As Reese continues to take control of her narrative and set boundaries that work for her, fans are eager to see what she’ll bring to the court in Unrivaled, which is all set to take place in January.

A rising star

In her rookie season in the WNBA, Reese proved why she was a household name in women’s college basketball. While Sky’s star forward lacked a little on the offense front of the game, she still was awarded the 2024 WNBA Peak Performer in rebounds after averaging a league-best of 13.1 rebounds per game. However, her season was cut short in September, when she was sidelined from the games after suffering from a devastating wrist injury.
