What’s different about the 2025 All-Star game?
As per ESPN, this year’s All-Star event introduces a brand-new format. Instead of the traditional East vs. West matchup, the game will follow a four-team, single-elimination tournament structure, with squads led by NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Candace Parker.
The tournament will feature three games, two semifinals and a championship, where players on the winning team will earn $125,000 each. Second-place finishers will receive $50,000, while those on the third- and fourth-place teams will take home $25,000 each.
