LeBron James Reveals How He Knew Savannah Was ‘The One’ on the New Heights Podcast

Married for nearly 12 years, LeBron James and Savannah James are one of the most influential power couples in the world of basketball. Their love story, which began as high school sweethearts, continues to captivate fans worldwide. Yet, many have often wondered—when did LeBron realize that Savannah was ‘the one’? And the Lakers superstar finally answered this burning question!

LeBron James recently joined Jason & Travis Kelce in their latest episode of the New Heights podcast, where all three of them dived into several on-court and off-court topics. During their conversation, LeBron’s wife came up and The King finally opened up about the moment he knew Savannah his ‘one.’ He said:

Not only do I got to put the work in on the court, I have to make sure that I take care of the business off the court as well. You can’t be a sh*t show……..And when I started to start my family, that was another part I knew Savannah was the one.

As one of the greatest basketball players of all time, his life has always been under the spotlight, but he credits Savannah for being his rock and helping him stay grounded. Her unwavering support, coupled with her strength and individuality, played a crucial role in LeBron’s growth, both as an athlete and as a person. They both have three kids together, with the oldest one, Bronny James, who has made it to the NBA.

The 2024-25 NBA season has been keeping the fans on their toes so far, and one of the many players who never fails to give a jaw-dropping performance in his matches, is the 40-years-old, LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers star forward has led his team to win 20 matches, out of 37 games they have played so far while averaging 23.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. While the LA wildfires have affected LeBron’s work life, leading to the postponement of two Lakers games, the 6-foot-9 player has remained supportive throughout. The Lakers will face the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, and as the season unfolds, fans will keep their eyes on LeBron to see if he can lead his team to this year’s title.
