Stephen Curry Reflects on Warriors’ Humiliating Loss to Boston: “We Lose Spirit, We Lose Life”

The Golden State Warriors prepared for a tough game against the Boston Celtics, with Draymond Green missing because of injury and listing Stephen Curry as questionable. However, Warriors fans found a glimmer of hope when it was confirmed that Curry would take the court against the defending Champions, sparking optimism for a competitive showdown. Unfortunately, Curry’s presence made little difference as the Warriors suffered their most humiliating loss of the season, falling 125-85.

In a post-game interview, Curry didn’t hold back his frustrations with his team as he addressed the Warriors’ recurring struggles.

I have no idea. Just been a tough one from the end of the first quarter through the rest of the game. Thought we came out with pretty good life and energy. A big part of our season has been when we can’t score, we lose spirit; we lose life; we lose competitiveness.

The Warriors have played 42 matches so far, out of which they have already lost 21 of them, dropping them to the 11th place in the Western Conference. And if they want to keep up with their competition, they’ll need to find ways to reignite their competitive fire.
