Y’all will write a whole story and not do one lick of research. I’m retired? I’m retired?, I’m, like, literally in season. I have a game tonight. I have the biggest female contract in the f****ng world. Y’all never want to write about that!

With this statement, Liz Cambage emphatically shut down the retirement rumors. However, it’s worth noting that while the former LA Sparks star has stepped away from the WNBA, she hasn’t retired from basketball altogether.

Since her retirement from the WNBA, Liz Cambage signed with the Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club in 2023, where she represents her club in the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA).
